Walk & Talk Therapy: An Introduction for Therapists
An online, live workshop for qualified therapists interested in taking therapy outdoors 🌿
Many therapists report that walking side‑by‑side can reduce client anxiety, increase openness, and support regulation.
This workshop offers a grounded, thoughtful introduction to working outdoors — balancing creativity with clinical responsibility
About the Workshop:
Walk & Talk Therapy is an increasingly popular and effective way of working with clients, combining movement, nature, and therapeutic conversation.
This live online workshop is designed specifically for qualified therapists who are curious about introducing walk & talk sessions into their existing practice, but want to do so ethically, safely, and confidently.
Over the course of this interactive workshop, you’ll be introduced to the core principles of walk & talk therapy, practical considerations, and clinical adaptations — with plenty of opportunity to reflect on how this approach could work for your client group and setting. This is an introductory training — no previous experience of outdoor or walking therapy is required.
